Priya Ragu is one of my favorite musicians. Music serves as an inspiration for my work. When I heard her song, Kamali, I knew it would be the perfect backdrop for a Bharatnatyam fusion dance project. I had the privilege to work with a classically trained Bharatnatyam dancer (shoutout Kavisha!) to bring this vision to life.
